Golang developer

Grab the opportunity to become a part of the most successful Czech fintech FTMO. You will be responsible for developing new features and implementing new technologies and processes. You will work closely with other team members to improve the quality of the code base, participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of our trading application or internal systems.

What will be your agenda?

• Design and implement efficient and stable applications that process over 500 million events daily — and growing fast
• Development of APIs to provide data collected from monitoring systems and to support business processes related to customer accounts on third-party trading platforms
• You will be fully involved in system design, development, refactoring, and optimization of existing code
• Actively contribute to the direction of development in the Go programming language
• Code reviews and working within an agile development process
• Writing unit and integration tests – current test coverage is approximately 75%
• Sharing knowledge with colleagues across all levels of seniority
• Working with technologies such as Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, ELK stack, Grafana, GitLab, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and others
• You'll have the space for self-realization and the opportunity to influence key technical decisions

What do we expect from you?

• Knowledge of modern programming languages, primarily Go (Golang)
• Willingness to learn new things
• Experience with messaging technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
• Strong understanding of relational databases
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive, systematic approach to problem-solving
• You're a team player and prefer working in the office over working from home – you enjoy being part of the team in person
• Fluency in Czech and English – we’re an international team and communicate in both languages
