Head of Accounting

We won the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 award for the fastest-growing young company in Central Europe. We ranked in the TOP 100 companies in the Czech Republic for the highest corporate income tax contributions in 2021. We are continuing to grow and need new colleagues to help us achieve this.

Over the past year, we have successfully built a new internal accounting team from scratch, taken over accounting from an external provider, and become a fully-fledged department within our company. However, the workload continues to increase, so we are pleased to welcome another Chief Accountant to our team.

Our portfolio includes a few dozen companies, ranging from small businesses to those with revenues in the billions of crowns. We value innovation and strive to avoid routine. But be aware, you never know what challenges tomorrow might bring with us.

What will be your agenda?

• Responsible for managing accounting and ensuring its compliance with relevant legal regulations, internal procedures, and guidelines.
• Approve documents and oversee accounting activities.
• Manage the company's asset agenda.
• Conduct inventory of balance sheet accounts.
• Perform monthly VAT reconciliation.
• Participate in monthly company closings.
• Prepare annual financial statements and documentation for audit.
• Coordinate accounting processes within the accounting team.

What do we expect from you?

• Minimum 4 years of experience in comprehensive accounting, with 2 years in a similar position.
• Experience in preparing financial statements, reports, and VAT calculations.
• Proficiency in corporate income tax calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work within deadlines.
• Experience in leading accounting teams (both junior and senior staff).
• Possess empathy, positive energy, and professional communication skills (we're a team of six and we get along well :).
• At least high school education and English language skills at an intermediate level.
